However you reached this page, I'm happy you're here. My life has taken me on a very diverse journey. On that journey I have learned many different skills, knowledge, and experiences when pertaining to the workplace. I've worked as a busboy, camp counselor, construction worker, barista, and now my current role at a cosmetics company. Many of these roles have been away from the sport but I could never regret my experiences. All these skills are applicable in other arenas of life. I am a man of many traits. It's difficult to put into words. My sister (who is much more corporate than I am) was struggling to find a word to encompass my vast knowledge and skills.
She landed on the word "factotum". Look it up. Yet my primary title has been the word "coach". If you're visiting this website, there’s a good chance we met through the world's game. In whatever capacity I have done at least 75% of all the jobs in the industry. Retail, podcasting, facility manager, referee, equipment manager, data scientist, and of course coaching. I am the literal embodiment of "Ball is life". I've been fortunate to have been able to try many things in the industry. My latest venture, and the one I love the most, is Data Science. Applying this new skill to the sport I love has been a dream come true. Hopefully a long-term dream.
Of course, my biggest dream, like for many of us, is to dress in the colors of our national team and play on the biggest stage. Well momentarily, God has other plans for me. Those plans included tearing my ACL 4x. For those who don't know what an ACL is, it's about an inch long piece of tendon in your knee that holds it in place. Quite painful when you tear it. My injuries define me, and I say that in the most positive way I can think of. That no matter how many times we fall, you should always pick yourself up and move forward. I don't think I'm stubborn, but I do believe that I rather do everything I possibly can to be who I want to be. Do I wish it never happened? Of course, but because of that I am the man I am today.
